Done is Better than Perfect.

Updated: Nov 24, 2023

Analyzing how far you’ve come and where you’ll go next in your business is essential to getting a perspective that supports your success.

When a business is brand new, there’s excitement and motivation in seeing it take off.

You love the hands-on involvement.

Hours fly by and you’re highly motivated.

When you’ve been in the thick of it for a while, it’s easy to get so caught up in the day- to- day work of your business that you lose sight of what really matters.

The most urgent needs get all the attention.

Some of the fun tapers off.

It’s hard work.

You begin to forget why you got into your business in the first place.

It is during this time that is it important to step back and take a big picture look at your business. What is your purpose, revisit your vision and get clear on your mission.

What values really matter to you and those you work with.

This isn’t a “once and done” practice.

Once or twice a year it’s wise to stop and re-evaluate. Recalibrate and move forward with confidence. It could be that a small tweak is all that’s needed, or your business may need a major overhaul.

Success or failure in business is all about perspective.

To regain perspective, you need to briefly stop working in your business and take a good look at your business.

If you need to remind yourself why you are in business again, block out 4 hours to regain your perspective.

Don't forget to let me know how you go.

About the author:

Hey there my name is Kathie, I've been in the business world for over 25 years, steering various ventures to success with turnovers of up to 3 million dollars. It all started when I was 27, and since then, I've been fully committed to making businesses not just run but thrive. After two decades of immersing myself in product-focused ventures, I decided to take it to the next level. I launched my own business consultancy, with a clear mission: helping businesses and non-profits grow. My secret sauce? Strategic thinking and a solid commitment to seeing people not just survive but excel. I have a track record to prove it. Taking businesses from ground zero to six figures has been my specialty. How did I do it? Well, chalk it up to thinking strategically, a clear plan, consistency, resilience, adaptability, and a good old dose of stubborn determination.

I've got the scars and the stories to back it up. Like to know more? Say Hello. x Kathie
