4 Steps Up the Ladder to Success.
Identify a mission you are trying to achieve.
Once identified, put your mission on the top step of your ladder.
Step 2: Think about 2-to 3 smaller goals to help you achieve your mission. Your smaller goals can be as small as setting the alarm or filling out your calendar; they can also be slightly bigger, focusing on specific skills or smaller versions of your mission.
Add these to the steps of your ladder.
Step 3: Sometimes, outside influences or unexpected changes make you adjust your steps. All of this is okay, and it is okay if a step "gets broken"; this is not failure. It is a learning opportunity. It is essential to think of these before they happen to be prepared. So, think of 2-3 things that could break a step on your ladder and 2-3 ways that you can fix your steps if they get broken. Write these down next to your ladder.
Step 4: Put your ladder in a place that you will look at each day: on your wall, set it as your screensaver on your phone/computer. When you look at it every day, make a note about your progress, and as you complete each step, cross it off and keep on going!
Why not share your mission with your coach, teammate, friend, etc., they can help you to stay accountable and keep on climbing up your ladder to success.
